We’ve given the TM5 Thermomix® Mixing Bowl Base an upgrade, with the addition of a new security mechanism that’s designed to ensure your blades are securely locked in place before your Thermomix® will operate. 

Without the bowl base firmly locked in place and your mixing bowl fully assembled, your TM5 won’t blend, mill, mix, knead, chop or cook. When it’s locked, you’re ready to load.

The base also prevents any leakage of liquids from your mixing bowl into the motor that drives your Thermomix® TM5. 

So, just in case you accidentally break it, or leave it behind on a camping trip, we’ve made the Mixing Bowl Base available as one of our essential Thermomix® TM5 spare parts.
