The Story of the Large Vintage Iron Tub

These beautiful large iron washtubs are hard to come across! The tub originates from India, where it was used for doing the laundry by hand. The tub was filled with water and put on the fire to heat the laundry water. Burn marks are still visible on the side and bottom of the wash tub, which adds to the charm and demonstrates its authenticity.
